Maximum Weights & Sizes
You can use any cardboard box suitable for your contents that meets basic requirements:
- 30 kg - maximum weight per package.
- 170 cm - sum of dimensions (L + w + h).
- Volumetric calculation: (L x w x h) / 6000.
Packing Guide
- Use Heavy Duty cardboard boxes.
- No empty spaces; contents securely packed.
- Seal with strong transparent/brown tape (not duct tape).
- Sharp objects/liquids - special protection needed.
- Suitcases must be wrapped in plastic film.
Labeling
Each package must have at least one visible label with: Sender's and Receiver's full names, complete addresses (including postal codes), and phone numbers for both. We also recommend placing a copy inside the package.
Prohibited Items
We do not ship: Live animals, firearms, valuables (art, gold, cards, jewelry >$500CAD), alcohol, perishables, plants, seeds, tobacco, explosives, gases, or flammable liquids.
Customs Taxes and EORI Code
What is an EORI Code?
An EORI number is a unique identification code valid throughout the EU, required for customs clearance of packages (especially those valued over 150 EUR / 200 CAD). The receiver in Romania must obtain it by applying to regional customs authorities.
Who pays customs taxes?
Taxes, VAT, and customs duties are determined by the Romanian customs authority and are normally paid by the receiver (or can be prepaid by the sender). Customs may reassess goods if undervaluation is suspected. The sender is responsible for accurately declaring contents and value.
